  1. In the past, all the SAT Tests that you took were sent to colleges and even though they'd only consider your highest scores, they'd still have your lower scores on file.

    This new policy stipulates that you can choose which grades you send to colleges from a certain test date. If you do not make a selection though, all will be sent to the schools your applying to for the same fee (10). And you can not, choose the highest scores from each section. If you want the colleges to look at your highest scores you'd have to send them all the scores.

    For the subject tests, if you bomb French but still do well in Chemistry and Literature, you can choose to only send the latter too without the school ever knowing you took the first.

    This policy will begin in March 2009.
