New Samsung LCD Television Question?

i had a question. i just bought my lcd tv. there is just one problem. the tv does not recognize any of my HDMI inputs until one of them are turned on. is this normal. thanks ps. it does recognize all of my other inputs when they are off.

That is normal, it will only recognize them when they are turned on.
