New School and Miss My Friends?

I went to a new high school. I might return to my old one, but it will take a long time. When I return, will my friends care and hang out with me. Or will they just not make a big deal about it because they all probably moved on by now. I'm worried that when I go back, they won't care. Do you think I would have to make new friends? They weren't close friends.

one of my besties moved away for a while and came back a year later and we were still close

well since you said they weren't close friends they may not care but the more caring ones will  those are the ones that do stuff like lend you money and stuff like that they will miss you and the other people that ask for money and never pay you back will move on fast
