New Starbucks Opening - Job Opportunities?

I've been looking for a part-time job for a while now - before I begin sixth form in September - and it seems some higher power is handing me a freebie.

I was in Surrey Quays shopping centre, and saw a sign on the front of a boarded up ex-Currys, saying that a new Starbucks would be arriving soon. It also said to go to the website, regarding job opportunities.

The site isn't helping me much - what should I do?

Not sure when you seen that sign. May be just a sign to get you to someones site.

Starbucks is closing down over 4,000 of its stores.

I don't think there is much you can do. Just keep checking back on the website every day to see if they have updated it. They could start conducting interviews three weeks before it opens, so see if you can get a opening date.

Go online to Starbucks.com, and see what's there on their web site.  Personally, I don't think you would want to work for Starbucks.  I applied for a job at the one near me; when they were hiring during the holiday season.  I was treated like c**p.  The manager got all s****. with me and insulted my capablity of doing the job.  If I was insulted and snobbed as a job applicant; I wonder how her employees are treated.
