New Tamagotchi V5 Family?

i just got the new Tamagotchi Family V5 and the directions don't say how to turn it off. i tried just letting it go but it's been about an hour and it still won't. how do i turn it off.?

it does not turn off but you can turn off the sound and it does not take much battery power to keep it on. this is how to turn off the sound: hold the a and b key down at the same time.

Translation for a and b: the first and third key

no. it never turns of. the old versions used to pause(left and middle buttons at same time), but v5 runs on.

Unfortunately, you CAN'T turn it off. You can either turn the sound off so it doesn't annoy you or you can simply pause it. The v5 runs entirely on and on. You can turn the sound off by pressing both buttons A and C at the same time. Or, you can pause it by going to the tv icon (8th icon) and select TRAVEL SHOW. During the show your tamagotchis will be traveling and going on tours. Your tamas are currently in pause mode. To get out of pause mode just press button C and select YES to come back home.

By "turning off" do you mean pause? On the V5, there is small icon that looks like a TV. Click on it. There will be three choices - "TV Shopping", "Dating Show", and "Traveling Show". Click on "Travelling Show", and the Tamagotchi V5 will pause.
