Ok, so I've been a vegetarian for about a month now. I didn't give up dairy, just have it a lot less. Anyways since giving up meat (which I don't even miss) I have been ADDICTED to cheese! I was just wondering if this is normal or if by stopping to eat meat I have a deficiency somewhere? I never really ate cheese, and now its like it has to be on EVERYTHING! Any advice?

Oh & for the record I went vegan for a week, but I cant do that forever, so its not an option...

  1. I think it's just a transition problem. Try to limit your cheese intake, because if your a vegetarian for health reasons cheese isn't any better for your health then meat. My son ate a lot of cheese and eggs when he first became a vegetarian.

  2. Sounds more like an addicitive thing, make a journal, and limit yourself to ?? several times a day, and use another food item the other times, it just might be a replacement for your

    ex-meat item.?
