New Volkl expert skis what size?

I'm 6 feet and looking at AC30 skis. Are 170's the right size? I've heard that newer skis can be shorter than older skis.

Shaped skis can be alot shorter. I'm 6'2" and weigh 230lbs, I have 3 pairs of volkl's ac20 177cm, brand new(haven't skied 'em yet) tigershark 10ft 180cm and a pair of 190cm racetigers

I tried the ac30's last year and found them really stiff and edgy(too much for my liking). 170 should be a reasonable length for such a stiff ski and you will still find them good at high speed and aslong as you are not too heavy you shouldn't feel any chatter when you want to go fast
