Another point - will the Govt prosecute itself for paying way under the minimum wage to the dole people who work 40 hr weeks cleaning up their local community?

Wash your mouth out with soap, these people don't come to Britain to work, they come come for all the free goodies (house, money, food) that we Brits are expected and forced to provide.

And the Government will not prosecute itself because I suspect people on the dole will be re-classed as benefit workers who will be exempt from from the law and they will been seen as layabouts who will be paying back to society their debt.

What a sad country we are becoming....

I see where you are coming from, as we already pay for asylum seekers as soon as they hit Britain, they pass through other county's who would have them, but then that means they would have to work, and that's why we get the dredges of Europe come here, its easy and they get paid as well

Decent asylum seekers just want to get the h**l out of a bad country and find some peace to work with dignity, and will stop at the first country who will accept them.

As far as minimum wage goes for our own lazy British people, they also get housing benefits paid for them as well so all in all if it did not pay them, they would get a job so they are as bad

My concern is for the mental and physically ill people who are genuine, as they talked about getting an opinion from an independent doctor, who no doubt will be working for government, and will be expected to send so many people to work, as they all are given targets to achieve.  I can see this causing an enormous amount of stress on people who are already ill.

The one thing the government forgot to mention is thousands of people are being lay ed of on a daily basis to streamline and let a computer do the job, so where is the work anyway, even people with a degree find it hard to get work, so I would ask government."PROVIDE REAL JOBS" in the first place

this is the exact same pattern as the rise of n**i Germany except its the unemployed and not the freeloading immigrants that are being blamed. so what are we to expect now. stripey uniforms for the unemployed. a  mark placed on their doors so that every one knows where they are! a tattoo on their wrists so that we can check that they've done their required tasks toward social redemption. the British people should be named shamed and globally despised for the cowards they are!! for allowing their country to be brought to this level of insanity. the FACT! is that capitalism cannot function without the haves and have not's, the employed and the unemployed. that's how capitalism works. unemployment benefit is there to prevent an army of four and a half million angry people from marching and demanding their right to a job to feed their families. that!! is the reality. ....every time the government screws up the finances of this country, it does the same despicable trick. blames every thing on the unemployed......and this! coming from a government that is 'as we speak' allowing at least twelve thousand extra dependants a week!! through our borders. what a f*cking crock of sh*t this whole farce is.

I think you will find asylum seekers will still continue with their  drain on our society and when they have saved enough they will go back home rich beyond their wildest dreams OR eventually get every family member over here to drain what ever is left of the UK!
