New York City Clubs/Party Venues?

I'm looking for a venue for a sweet sixteen. possibly where i can rent the whole thing or just a portion of it. somewhere in new york city, either downtown or midtown. anything 100th st. and down. and a reasonable price. it doesn't have to be super fancy or anything, just suitable for a party.

Well, if you want a club-type party, there's Webster Hall, but if you want something classier, like a dinner party, you should check out what restaurants serve what you want first. IE: French food? Compare reviews across a number of sites, like City Search and Yelp. Then, once you have it down to a handful, check which ones have the best rates for the size of your group, and see if the day you want is available through OpenTable.

Definately call any club you want to go to before trying to book, as not all clubs that offer private rooms will allow 15 & 16 year olds in.

Just google it.

Im from NYC but i wouldnt know where to start..
