  1. A). Visit the university's website for the procedure which to follow and the documentation you need to submit for admission to the school, each university will differ.

    B) City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York (SUNY) are the two largest public universities and tuition tends to be less expensive at public schools rather than private. Other good schools which are private however are Columbia University, Fordham University and New York University,

    C) You will need your high-school final exam results, SAT I scores and SAT II scores (if applicable). You will also need financial documentation to prove you can afford the tuition and living expenses. All other documentation will be available on the university's website, again each university may require different documentation.

    D) Yes, you are.

    E) Where you could live, it depends on many things, which university you chose, which campus, available transportation and of course your budget. NYC is a very expensive place to live, so look at the suburbs or the more affordable neighborhoods in NYC. You could even look to see if any of the universities have on-campus housing, some do and some don't.

    F) Again, it depends on the answer to question E and which school you chose to attend. You are looking at between $18,000 and $45,000 per year including tuition and living expenses. If cost is an issue then look at community colleges such as the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Bronx Community College, College of Staten Island (a four year college with affordable tuition), Kingsborough Community College - there are many more and nothing you cannot find on Google.

you have to go to their websites to apply

they cost around $30,000 or so a year
