New York City is a Sagittarius city?

I just read this in another question. I thought it was interesting..I am a Sagittarius and my chart is very heavy Sag (sun, mercury, venus, saturn, and uranus). Well I had just applied to medical school here in Texas when I visited NYC and it changed my life. I quickly applied and enrolled in a 1 year accelerated nursing program instead of medical school so that I can move there way sooner.

So anyway enough background info..do you think New York City is a Sagittarius city? What sign would you give it?

If you are interested in how you will adjust to this "Sagittarius" city, re-do your natal chart and plug in the latitude and longitude coordinates for the place of birth.  See what you come up with...............

Except for the fact that it is a city and not wide-open country, yeah, it could be considered a Sagittarius city.

Violet - I searched and could not find reliable data for the date and time that New York City was founded. Once I do find that information I can easily calculate a "mundane" horoscope for the city and answer york question reasonably.

In the meanwhile, it just seems like a hunch that New York has fantastic karma - a powerful place with extreme good and bad, but which in general is in an improving trend. I think your individual relationship to a north eastern travel would be a more reliable place to find confirmation or expectation of your success in New York.

New York City's incorporation date was on September 8, 1664.  So that makes NYC a Virgo. :-)
