why? Holly Wood (los angeles) because it much less polluted and just a tad bit cleaner than New York City! i have been to new york City and it's just absolutely disgusting there!

Since this is under the Environment section -- eh hem.

New York is the most easily accessible US city, with public transportation so widespread (look at the bus/subway map)

New buildings are built as "green", with revolving heat and electric use.  The NYC mayor has approved the installation of turbines under the east river to generate electricity via water power.
