New York Giants DE Justin Tuck expects Washington Redskins to come up with something different
Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III (RG3) has faced many different teams since starting his National Football League (NFL) career with this season, but in Week 13 he will face the New York Giants, who have already defeated the Redskins
once this season.
Giants will be the first one to face RG3 second time and their defensive end Justin Tuck expects the Redskins to come up with something different in their second meeting.
Tuck is of the view that Redskins will present such things that were not there in the first meeting between these two teams.
According to the details present on the team’s website, Tuck said:
“I think they’re going to change some things up. I think they’re going to show us some different looks. I think they’re going to have some things in this game plan that they didn’t necessarily feature in the first game plan.”
Giants won the first game with a close margin. Coming off victories in two straight games, the Redskins can give the defending Super Bowl champions even tougher time in this game.
As the playoff picture starts to shape up, Giants look well on course of reaching the postseason as National Football Conference (NFC) East leaders, barring any setbacks or surprising slump.
If they are able to secure a few more wins, they will certainly have a guaranteed playoff berth. A win against the Redskins will be even more crucial because it will take the Giants’ number of wins this season to eight, while it will also give them an advantage
in the division.
It should be noted that the Redskins have defeated Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles recently and the Giants must prevent the Redskins from gaining advantage in the division.
For Tuck, the recipe of success is simple. He has called for effectively communicating on the field. Tuck said:
“We’ve just got to make sure we are in tune and communicating and make sure everybody is on the same page and I think we’ll have some success against them. But if we allow them to kind of dictate what we’re doing and then we’re not going to go out there
and communicate, it can be a long day for us.”
