Koets reportedly signed the deal on Saturday, 6 November, and then tore a ligament in his knee in the team’s 41-7 win against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, placing him on injured reserve on Tuesday. He was already filling in for injured centre Shaun O’Hara, who is not expected to return to the lineup until 21 November in Philadelphia.
