New York Knicks pin down Washington Wizards, 115-105
New York pounced on Washington to notch up a 115-105 defeat at home.
The Wizards hopes of winning on the road are fading day by day, as up till now they remain winless on the road.
The game took place at Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, where it was witnessed by more than 19,000 basketball fans and ran for 2 hours and 18 minutes.
The lead changed seven times whereas the game was tied six times during the whole intervention.

New York Knicks (23-21)
Amar'e Stoudemire punched in a whopping game-high 30 points on a 13-for-23 shooting from the field.
Wilson Chandler clinched 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds whereas Danilo Gallinari added 17.
Raymond Felton produced an awesome double-double for the winners, going for 17 points and 15 assists in his 39 minutes on the floor.
The Knicks grabbed six rebounds.
Washington Wizards (13-30)
Nick Young scored 22 points, Rashard Lewis added 20 and John Wall clinched 18 points along with seven rebounds.
JaVale McGee contributed a double-double for the losing team as he shot 15 points and pulled out 10 rebounds in the clash.
The Wizards had 13 team rebounds in the loss.

The Wizards outscored the Knicks in rebounds, going 47-40 in the stats.
New York tossed 14 offensive rebounds whereas Washington took 12. Luck went down on the losing team as they were forced into giving 17 turnovers, and as for the winners, they gave away 11 only. Washington led in fast break points too, 19-15.
The Knicks took the biggest lead with 13 points whereas the Wizards were allowed six only.
Both the teams had 48 points from the paint.
Highlights of the game
The losing team faltered in the final quarter of the encounter. They were let through with just 15 points in the final stanza when they needed the points more than in any other quarter.
New York savoured a large number of free throws that came their way in the opening chapter. Later on, the Wizards also had the same experience as they quenched their thirst with the free throws provided.
New York dominated the first quarter, 33-26.
The second quarter saw an amazingly tenacious game from the Knicks. They posted three 3-pointers in a row, coming from Shawne Williams, Chandler and Bill Walker. This gave them a 42-31 lead over the Wizards.
Later, in the same quarter, the Knicks tried for more three-pointers, but they missed several of them, except for the two straight clinched by Chandler.
Stoudemire had an amazing third quarter with a number of dunk shots and jumpers over the rim. The game was tied only once during this frame and New York led by the end of the third quarter, 93-91.
The closing chapter produced a defenceless game from the losing team. The Knicks had their defence and offence up on the top mark that led them to a barbaric 115-106 lead over the weakened Wizards.
