New York Mets beat Atlanta Braves 5-3 in Spring Training - MLB Update

Desperate to find a win, the Atlanta Braves mount up stock of their Spring Training defeats by suffering from another 3-5 loss against New York Mets at Champion Stadium in Kissimmee, Florida on March 9, 2012 despite Martin Prado bringing valuable hits.
Braves’ manager Freddie Gonzalez is growing restive over dismal performances. Happy though with hits seen in the game, results are yet to appear for him to experience a satisfactory response of work he has done over the off-season with players.
Analysed from the perspective of last game, Braves were terrific with the way they were drawing RBIs and hits. Another factor going to their favour is the fact most of their batters stepped up as opposed to a one man leading everything.
Martin Prado striking twice on three at bats and bringing a double while Jason Heyward hammering two hits across the park with Brian McCann and Dan Uggla both adding one RBI show all round participation exerted by players. Watching players, fighting their
way out and showing positive intent against the backdrop of some humiliating defeats a few days ago in their minds spell positives for the club.
"We've been getting on base," Braves’ manager said. "Now we just need to put a crooked number up. We keep putting those ones up and we need to put up a two- or a three-spot. That'll come. I'm not worried."
Troubled by his thigh and as a result not playing last five games Chipper Jones made entry for the Braves in the play and while not seeing many hits struck by him. He is not getting irked by his thigh during play indicates he is fit and ready to give a much
needed boost to his languishing club.
Unable to restrict the Braves at the start, Dillon Gee who has just joined the Mets’ rotation pitched for three innings which included two runs and two hits coming against him. Most pitches he got hammered were the result of his undue experimentation like
trying to throw cutters which then cost him five hits.
Glancing on defeats and not moving ahead will only add to the Braves’ troubles. Instead if they take a lift from excellent performances shown by most of their hitters, they can turn things around in their next games down the line.
