New York Mets or Yankees, which one has an better shot of making the playoffs this yr or is it equal?

To me The Mets have better chance then Yankees. Yeah that can change if The Yankees would start playing better of course.

errrrr. hate to say this but the mets.. my yankees are hurting and playing awful.. so i  guess i will say mets.  hate the red soxes. hope they fall apart. your crying yankee fan,  wait till next year, i think a lot of yankee players will be gone next year..

Yanks are fading and are done. The Mets have the best opportunity for a short playoff run.

mets will make it 2 playoffs unless they have an embarrassing back-2-back collapse. the yanks got big problems bcuz they're falling out n wit that lineup its hard 2 blieve.

They're leading their division, while the Yankees are pretty much out of the playoff race now, if you really think about it.

Yankees fan. And it's the Mets, unfortunately. They're up 1.5 in their division and the Yanks are 7 back in the wild card. Only Yankees fans with blinders on would suggest otherwise.

That said, I'm not bailing on my team. The Yankees should play this out until the playoffs are no longer a possibility. They're in it until math eliminates them.

The Yankees have the better chance because they have a history of coming on strong at the end of the season and making the Playoffs, while the Mets have a history of collapsing when it matters most.

The Yankees are 11 games back. The Mets are leading their division. It's easier to hold onto your division lead than come back from an 11 game defecit.
