The New York Yankees surge for a better offensive thrust in the next Major League Baseball is continuous as they now hired former Seattle Mariners manager
Don Wakamatsu in their pro scouting department.
Don Wakamatsu is considered one of the most intelligent individuals who have ever managed any Major League strong team. He was Mariners top man in 2009 Major League Baseball season but the Mariners’ front office was not happy with him the way he put some
new defensive strategies late in the season.
He was fired later by the Mariners management as started his coaching career from there onwards. He joined the Texas Rangers as coach and also coached the Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays with best of his abilities.
He is a former Major League Baseball and used to play for the Chicago White Sox. As a player and later as manager and coach, he has showed the entire league that how much he can still produce for betterment of any team.
Now with the Yankees, experts are calling this new relationship healthy that will help New York side as well as Don Wakamatsu. The Yankees were already looking for a good coach who will also ensure their young talent’s proper training.
These days, the Yankees general manager Brian Cashman is also looking to add a good hitter in the roster. He has recently also talked to the media and explained some facts about his team’s needs in the next Major League Baseball season.
“I can’t have that complicate my ability to get what I want,” general manager Brian Cashman said Sunday. “We’ll need something for the DH spot as well, but the most important aspect right now is finding a right-handed bat in the outfield.”
Cashman said of Ibanez, who recently left the club and joined the Seattle Mariners, “We never made an offer, I have to see how much money I have left. I don’t have an unlimited budget.”
Some say the next few weeks will be more interesting as the New York Yankees will decide to add a fine hitter in the roster.
