The New York Yankees have quite short time to add some right handed batting prowess as their most of free agents left them after getting more lucrative deals. However, which put the Yankees in a narrower place as they now do not have enough players to choose
from.
The Major League’s top talent has already signed with different teams while Yankees are still confuse that whom to sign and with how many years.
“We’ll need something for the DH spot as well, but the most important aspect right now is finding a right-handed bat in the outfield,” Yankees general manger Brian Cashman told the Daily News on Sunday after Ibanez’s signing.

News is coming in the media that the Yankees are trying to bring Scott Hairston and Matt Diaz into the roster. Both are good players and possess good skills. Matt Diaz last played for the Houston Astros and did well in the last season. He showed consistent
performances and remained focus throughout the season. He went hitting an average of .222 along with two homers, 13 RBIs and .280 OBP.
Not only in the last Major League Baseball season but Diaz has also been performing brilliantly since coming into the biggest baseball league in the world. He currently holds career .291 hitting average along with 45 home runs, 225 RBIs and .339 OBP.
The other player, the Yankees are pursuing hard is Scott Hairston. Hairston played the last season with New York Mets and achieved .263 hitting average along with 20 home runs, 57 RBIs and .299 OBP while his career hitting average of .247 along with 95 home
runs and 279 RBIs and .302 OBP which also makes him a good player in the league.
