What would be the shortest flight from New York (JFK) to Ireland (any place in Ireland)?

Also how long would it take to go to Dublin from JFK? I’ve heard all these different answers! I just want an exact time.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Shannon is the closest airport to new york but there isnt much of a tome difference when flying maybe 20 mins. Aer Lingus operate that route.

  2. JFK- Shannon airport- 5/6 hours (closest, on the west coast of ireland)

    JFK-Dublin airport-approximately the same time.

its hard to give the exact time because planes can go faster or slower depending on the weather of the day you are flying on.

  3. I think most New York --> Ireland flights will only fly to Dublin, and you connect in Boston so it's about 1/2 a day traveling on planes and in airports.

  4. first off "A B" is completely wrong, you don't have to connect, you go straight from jfk across the atlantic to Dublin with aer lingus or delta airlines

and continental airlines goes from newark

to dublin from JFK it takes 6hours35mins

and from JFK to shannon(that's closest to new york) is 6 hours 15mins
