  1. This is an interesting dilemma you have here.  My first instinct was to tell you to go camping.  The reason was because Labor Day represents, in a way, the ending of summer and the beginning of autumn.  While the weather is still nice it would be great to get out into the wilderness and enjoy your last sweet sip of summer beauty.

However when I read the details of your question I changed my mind.  You noted that its your last time to see the yankees at their old stadium, so you just HAVE to do that.  You can honestly say that you will never have such an opportunity like it again in your life, so to pass it up would only lead you to regret!  In addition, you said that your family owns land on the lake in Virginia, so you will be able to go there in the future - maybe next Labor Day even...but you cannot go to the old yankees stadium for a trip next year.  Seize the opportunity and live with no regrets!

  2. I guess I'd pick camping, seeing all beautiful landscape and walking with dogs. New York is only one night. What's the point?
