New Yugioh Ban List for 2008

Question

Any ideals of when it will be coming out and what will be on it?

It will come out september first but they will release it 1bout a week before to prep decks. I think Elemental hero prisma will be limited crush card virus is gonna be banned is what ive heard

Sorry, dude. No idea. If there was going to be a new ban list, they probably would've mentioned it in the new Yu-Gi-Oh magazine.

Hello. The Ban List is usually revised twice every year, once in September and once in March. On occasion, when a certain deck type saturates the metagame (like Cyber-Stein did), Upper Deck will call for an emergency ban depending on what cards fuel that Deck. This step is mostly taken against OTK decks. They will also make occasional updates to keep up with the metagame between their bi-annual changes. For the past 5 ban list, it has always been released on the 17. Also, any cards that are heard to be limited,banned,etc, are just speculations. Crush card probably wont be hit, because Japan has it as a common since the game started. They adapted to crush card but for some reason, North america hasn't. Prisma wont hit but Bestiari might get limited. Premature burial might get banned because we share the same list as japan and they have a card called arms hole which really abuses premature burial. I hope mind control gets limited because with the new synchros, it will become popular, if not limited, I got 3 ready for this format.
