  1. Hi I am from New Zealand.  Still living here in fact.  I need a bit more information on location of stone.

Information found so far:   William Sanday august 1, 1843  September 16 1920   Seems he ia quite famous here though OI am having trouble sorting what is his fame.

It seems he had something to do with Henry Major.  Who was A modernistic church Dean of the Anglican Churches

Found:  Other dramatis personae in Merton conversations are recalled for me in this book: Hewlett Johnson, the “Red Dean” of Canterbury, William Temple, Major's student Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy, S. R. Driver, Armitage Robinson, William Sanday, W.C. Allen, Charles Raven, Gordon Fallows, Alan Richardson, Edwyn Hoskyns. I didn't see a mention of Renée Chateaubriand, and his Génie de Christianisme. .

Well Well It sems he is related to The Reid family who are related by marriage to me.
