New Zealand, very beautiful, yes I can see, but is it a fun place to be?

I am wanting to visit NZ in the near future and have researched it and d**n it is beautiful I can see that. That is the reason for me to visit, but wanting to stay for a month or so I want to know if it is a fun place to be. I am 40 years old so the wild party beach scene is not my thing, but I am no old man wanting to visit the cathedrals either. Straight up are you New Zealanders out there having fun being in the NZ? Talk to me...

us kiwis have a great diverse culture to share. we're pretty easy going and are very outgoing. we generally hate ********* and arrogance (ozzie).

we have alot to offer in terms of outdoor activities, from leisure walks in a native park to bungy jumping.

most towns are easy going bar the centres such as auckland, wellington and christchurch. most others have laid back lifestyles and good to visit. if you intend to travel around NZ, i reckon you'll never get bored, however if you intend to stay in a single place of a small population prepared to get bored.

make sure you talk to the locals and listen to their stories, real good laugh and you're sure to learn of places to go and discover hidden treasures.

have fun, make sure you come here when its sunnyish though, wouldnt recommend winter, its a bit wet and you can get stuck doing nothing much.

If you like skiing water or snow

bungi jumping

white water rafting

jet boats

fishing ( is awesome)

scenery

relaxation

food

then yes its a great place to visit.
