Pakistan is touring New Zealand and is set to play three Twenty20 matches, two Tests and six ODIs. Both the teams are keen to perform well as they prepare for the mega event of the world cup.

of the series will be diverted to the spot-fixing case.
During Pakistan’s tour to England this year, three Pakistani players Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were accused by a British tabloid of being involved spot-fixing during the Lord’s Test. As a result, ICC provisionally suspended the trio from
the game and will hear their appeals in January 2011.
In the following series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in UAE, before the fifth ODI, Pakistani wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider fled to England without informing anyone. He later revealed that he received death threats for throwing a match and did not want to indulge
in the matter, so as a solution, he fled.
Apart from these issues, fans are not happy with the performance what their team showed in the recent series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750. Kiwis lost consecutive 11 One Day Internationals. This will hurt the board as not many people will be coming to
see two international sides playing. Disappointed fans will be hoping that things might turn in their favour with their new coach, former batsman Mark Greatbatch.
There is no doubt that in the recent years the number of spectators has reduced in the New Zealand. The commercial manager of the New Zealand team Peter Dwan was optimistic of an attractive series ahead.
He said, “We can't change what is happening. All we can do is go to the market with a product we think is very compelling -- a highly entertaining series of T20, then a good Test series followed by ODIs of our national team against very good sportsmen who
are successful on the pitch.”
The first Twenty20 starts on the Boxing Day and there are a couple of injury concerns for the Kiwis. Their captain Daniel Vettori and regular opener Brendon McCullum are rested due to their injured backs.
