Does Anyone Know The Bare Mininum Age For Renting A Hotel/Motel Room In New Zealand ( Bay Of Plenty )

  1. it's likely to be 18 , as with renting anything else, partly because they generally require a credit card for secuirty and you have to be 18 to have one, and also because under 18 have limited legal liability for any damage or unpaid bills etc, not to mention that most rooms have a minibar....

      Your best bet is to contact a few and ask them, they may need to make special arrangements.

  3. I think it is less than 18. I have known people from when I used to go to school who rented ones below 18 years of age. It may well be 16, but I guess it depends on many factors
