New Zealand Women set a target of 147 runs for Australian Women

New Zealand Women won the toss, elected to bat and opened the innings with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Suzannah-Wilson-Bates-c92079 and Captain Aimee Watkins. The duo started off well and laid a solid foundation with 52 runs partnership for the first wicket.
Bates lost her wicket after scoring 23 runs off even balls which comprised 4 fours and new batter, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sara-Jade-McGlashan-c88747, followed her after the addition of just one run in the total.
Watkins who was playing well also became the third victim of Australian Women’s bowling at the total of 55 runs. She contributed 29 runs off 22 balls with the help of a six and 4 fours.
The wickets were tumbling when Perry took over and was well assisted with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Amy-Ella-Satterthwaite-c44145 at the other end.
They shared 27 runs for the fourth wicket before Satterthwaite was bowled by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shelley-Nitschke-c89961 on 10 runs.
The fourth wicket fell at the total of 82 runs when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nicola-Jane-Browne-c79480 joined in with Perry who was controlling the other end.
The pair started playing attacking cricket and the Australian Women were unable to control the flow of runs.
The shots were played all over the park and a quick partnership of 60 runs was created between the two batters.
Browne went back to the pavilion after playing a hurried knock of 28 runs in just 18 balls with one six and two fours.
Perry blasted unbeaten 50 runs off 37 balls which were aided with five fours when the Blackcaps managed 146 runs for the loss of six wickets at the end of the 20th over.

The Aussie Women have to bat aggressively if they want to win the match against the composed bowling of New Zealand Women.
