The side sealed a seven wicket win over Zimbabwe in the opening T20 of the two-match series at Eden Park before prevailing by five wickets in the closely fought second and last T20 played at Seddon Park, Hamilton today, February 14, 2012.
The first T20 of the three-match series between New Zealand and South Africa will be played at the Westpac Stadium, Wellington on, Friday February 17 while the second T20 will be played at Seddon Park, Hamilton just a day later.
New Zealand assistant coach Trent Woodhill hinted that the changes could be made after the second T20.
"If we need to have a look at things after that we will," said assistant coach Trent Woodhill after the squad was named. "A lot of guys haven't had much to do yet, so we need to see where they are at."
Woodhill was also happy with the way http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 was progressing after a tumultuous 2010-11 season.
"We're playing good cricket, even though with the team we're playing at the moment there's an expectation we'll win, and win well,” said the Kiwi assistant coach. "If we continue to play good cricket we'll get some pretty good results against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757,"
he added further.
