New Zealand deny agreeing to tour Pakistan for a charity match
The New Zealand cricket board has tried to make it clear that they did, not at any point, say that they would be touring Pakistan. Earlier it was believed that the New Zealand team had offered to play an exhibition match in Pakistan to help the flood victims. A PCB official, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nadeem-Sarwar-c78422 had said that the New Zealand Cricket team has offered to help the flood relief victims and may be touring Pakistan to play exhibition matches; funds of which would go to the ones affected.
Nadeem Sarwar, who is the media Manager for the Pakistan Cricket Board, may have misinterpreted the message of support sent by Cricket New Zealand.
New Zealand cricket’s Chief Executive, Justin Vaughan has tried to clarify his position and said that, he did send an email to PCB but did not say that they would be touring Pakistan. He reiterated, still that does not mean that New Zealand will be touring Pakistan.

There are talks underway between the Pakistan and England cricket team to play a friendly match in England to raise funds for the flood affected people. Meanwhile there is also a charity dinner proposed by the 2 teams in England to help raise funds. Feather weight champion, Amir Khan of Britain has also pledged to help out in raising funds and will be part of the charity dinner with the Pakistan and England team.
United Nations has said that the scale of disaster in Pakistan floods is more than the destruction caused by Tsunami and Haiti earthquakes put together.
