New Zealand name women’s squad for Rose Bowl – Cricket News Update
The White Ferns today, November 28, 2012, announced a 14-member squad for the forthcoming Rose Bowl series against Australia.
The squad contains two changes from the side that played in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 itinerary.
National selection manager Kim Littlejohn said that wicketkeeper Priest has been recalled into the side on the back of some impressive performances in the domestic circuit. Candy, on the other hand, finds a place in the national setup on the basis of some very strong performances over the last 12 months.

"There's plenty of batting depth with a good mix of hard hitters and skilful stroke-makers," said Keenan, who represented New Zealand Women in five Tests and 54 One Day Internationals, and was also part of the World Cup winning side in 2000.
"The bowling attack has a lot of variety, we have excellent fielders with plenty of energy and brilliant leadership," she went on to add.

The Rose Bowl series against Australian women gives the White Ferns a chance to hone their one-day skills ahead of the women's World Cup, to be played in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in late January.
The series will feature four One Day Internationals, with the first ODI being played at Sydney Cricket Ground on December 12. The following three one-dayers will be played at North Sydney Oval, in Sydney on December 14, 17 and 19. This will be the 26th time the trans-Tasmanian rivals will be competing for the title.
