Question:

New Zealand or Canada- Alberta?

One of my freinds is an expeiance nurse as He ask me this question . He got an offer to work in Alberta and in New Zealand as well. He apply for canada ( Alberta ) as they might put him in a small town called ( Grand Perrier ) He should go there for a test to be a register nurse to be able to work as nurse in AB Till that time his salary will be around 20$ ( canada dolar)

My question is . Wat do u think who is better to work in Alberta or Aucland . Who is better money / Life and Benifits.

  1. Canada, I lived there, and that is a great place. You get free medical, and usually free dental, and even though 20 american does not sound like much, canadas money is worth more, so for every 1 american dollar you have 1.02 canadian and that adds up of course. So I would say Canada, but the cold may be to much for her. Any more questions i will be happy to answer.


  2. I would recommend Canada.  A friend of mine just got married.  Her husband is from New Zealand.  New Zealand is a great place...but there's more opportunities in Canada.

Can't really give much on fact, but I've heard New Zealand is great from friends who have been there.  Aukland is supposed to be very nice and they have anything from tropical beaches to high mountains.  They also have a very liberal government, and while that would be a positive for me, it might not be for your friend.  But Helen Clark is a kick as* PM.  $1 US = $1.32 NZ.  Looks like average nurse pay in there is NZ$43,000-NZ$52,000.  http://www.payscale.com/research/NZ/Job=...
