New Zealand continued their dominance over the touring Zimbabwean cricket team, as they defeated the visitors by a massive margin of 202 runs to win the third ODI match at McLean Park, Napier and with the win they completed a series whitewash.
Batting first, Kiwis posted a gigantic total of 373 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In reply, the Africans were dismissed for 171 runs with six overs still left to play.

New Zealand had already won the ODI series coming into the last match at Napier. Any hopes that the Zimbabweans had of salvaging a win were dashed when Kiwi openers, Martin and Rob put on an opening partnership of 153 runs. This set the tune for the 373
runs total, and the Kiwis were in complete control after that.
