New additions to my boy's list?

What do you think of these boy's names.

Jefferson (SO's name is Jeffrey, this would be meaningful)

Franklin

Gunnar

I know for sure I want to add Jefferson because of my SO. And Franklin, I love the nickname Frankie for it.

Not too sure on Gunnar. When I was answering another question, about eighteen kids with the same names, I had mine all start with G, and I came across Gunnar. I'm iffy on it.

Hmmm.  

Jefferson sounds a bit, shall we say, "ethnic"?  It might be okay as a middle name, though.

Franklin is nice, although I do picture a rather annoying turtle when I hear the name (d**n PBS!).

Gunnar could be nice, depending on your last name.  Gunnar Sorenson could work, but Gunnar D'Angelo or Gunnar Fernandez wouldn't sound so great.

Honestly?  I don't like them.  I hate Gunnar.  Having gun in the name makes it sound violent to me.  Franklin is ok, I guess.  It doesn't do anything for me.  Jefferson is awful.  Makes me think of a butler.

Jefferson is great and nice that your SO is named Jeffrey so the kid could actually live up to his name and be the son of Jeffrey lol.  I'm not really a fan of jr.'s of any kind though, so I'd personally use it as a middle name or something.

Franklin is awesome!  Really sweet sounding name, and much softer to me than Frank, which I hate for some reason.  It sounds way too macho and angry for me, but Frankie sounds tons better.

And I love the name Gunnar.  Surprisingly, I don't find it a very violent sounding name at all lol.  Guy could be a cute nickname for it, or just Gunnar like that.  Sounds German to me for some reason, but not in a bad way, just in a cool exotic way lol.

Jefferson and Franklin are nice.

Even though it has a noble heritage, these days, Gunnar just does not sound respectable--like for job interviews, etc.

I like Jefferson - as your SO is Jeffrey - and Franklin.

I dont' like Gunnar, despite being Norse it just looks very trendy.
