New anime! Please answer =]

Question

Okay im still semi new with anime. And need some more anime to watch. I like romance and comedy anime. It doesnt have to be TOO funny. Though funny is a plus. It can also have drama, action, adventure or magic. I like the main character to be a girl and to be in elementary school or in middle school.

These are the anime i have already seen, and in order of my favourite:

xxxHolic- i haven't really watched it but my friend told me that it is the second part of Card Captor Sakura

DN Angel- funny, romantic, adventure

First of all, welcome to the world of anime. No backing out now! ^_^ I see that you've mostly seen shoujo (girl) series, and since that's what you're mostly looking for right now, let me see what I can recommend.

Sailor Moon is a classic if not a long series (200 episodes). It's really good despite the repetitiveness of it all, with plenty of magical girls and comedy mixed in with romance. If you liked Fushigi Yuugi, try Ayashi no Ceres. It's by Yuu Watase, the same author of FY. Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl is a cute comedy/romance with lots of swords thrown in for action. Azumanga Daioh is a great comedy series that features several junior high girls. Not much romance, but it's there.

Wikipedia, anime fansites, and just googling 'shoujo series' could give you a huge list. Have fun with whatever series you choose, and remember that there are plenty of other genres to choose from.
