  1. Windows Logo (START) -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Run

  2. At the bottom of the start menu, you will see a box that has "Start Search" in grey text. Click there, the "start search" will disappear, and you can type your command in there.

  3. To be honest, neither do I. Is it the search box, or perhaps you can bring up a run box from the menu?

I've not been using Vista for a while.

  4. Ok first go to the windows flag and click on it then go to all programs and then scroll down untill you see a folder called accessories and click on that then click on the command prompt icon and that should be what you need.

  5. If you can't find run anywhere then go to start and where you see the search box, try type in run and that might come up with some answers.

  6. Just type the commands in the box after you click the Windows flag on the taskbar. You could also type "run" in there and run your commands from that dialog box.
