New baby present ideas

Question

Both my husband's brother and his sister have babies due this week. I wanted to create a gift box for each of them. I have got some pretty blankets and some fisher price miracles and milestones baby toys ( I know they are a bit young yet but I wanted to get things other than clothes - which I'm sure everybody will buy). I am going to get coloured plastic boxes (pink or blue) and put everything inside and tie them up with ribbons, and then it can be a toy box after. I'm stuck for ideas of what else to put in the boxes. I want some things nobody else will have thought of. Any suggestions of what would be useful?

Diaper service.

pacifiers, wash cloths, tubby toys, towels, diaper cream.  You can also do some infant spoons a stage 1 sippy cup, bibs, onesies... etc.  get practical useful things... they grow out of clothes so quickly.

You can never have too many books or pajamas so you can do a bedtime theme to go along with pretty blankets and put a cute little teddy bear in each.  

How about going to a craft store and getting a photo album and stickers, pens,  scissors, markers(everything needed for a scrap book.) All new moms take lots of pictures and make albums.

how about some stuff for mom in the hospital ..a nice pair of no slip socks nice cream for back massages...her fav shampoo and conditioner..nice soap..i got a prenatal massage OMG it was awesome..but if you still want to spoil the baby..diapers wipes a wipe warmer...hats...swaddle blankets..
