New camera. Can't upload videos onto Windows Movie Maker. Helpp?

They are .mpg format,

my old camera used .avi and it always worked.

It says .mpg sohuld be supported but it doesn't work?

I really need help =(

  1. WMM supports .avi, .wmv, .asf video.

    Make sure if your video is compatible with wmm.

    If not, some video converters can help you, like wondershare video converter, which can convert popular format video to each other.

  2. you can download a free converter, or you get a program compatable with mpg, if you dont have the money to buy a program and need to finish a video you can download the demo to sony vegas

  3. just get a video converter to help you, convert mpg to avi, I recommend you a better video converter I have used it for a long time, you can free download it here
