New car blowout sales- How long will new 2008 models be available once 2009 models hit the dealerships?

Okay, let me rephrase my question...once a dealership starts their blowout sale, how long on average will it take for them to sell the remaining 2008 models? This would be for a Nissan Altima.

Like the first answer said, until they sell out. If the dealer can't keep the 2008 model of a car on the lot, it will not be there once the 2009s start coming in. Slower moving models, may still be hanging around for a few months.

New 2008  will be available til they are all sold as they quit making 2008  when they start making 2009...........UJN
