Question:

New car guide/help!?

So I just bought a brand new car, Toyota Corolla S (not sport). It's blue, :)

Anyways, I was just wondering, does anyone know if I should get mudguard/mudflap (not sure what's it call) for it? My dealer said my car is sport like so therefore it's lower, so with them it'll look silly and he also said it's unnecessary.

Any idea if I should get it or not? I'm just worried about winter driving and rust... And what about the bottom of the car's rust... Anyway I could start controlling it before it do start rusting?

Another thing is, is there anything I could do myself that'll keep my car shining? I saw on TV about Mr. Clean's car wash-thingy, forgot what's it call, but it makes the water act like marbles, just roll right off your car and you don't need to hand dry it.

Any idea/tips is welcome!

  1. Yes,  put the mud guards on! when you wash your car, be sure you spray in the wheel wells and rinse as much debris and dirt out you can. Do this before cleaning the wheels. A good carnauba wax or paint sealer will help keep it looking great and protect the paint!

Don,t forget the mainteance schedule, it is in your owners manual!

    Congratulations on the new car!!!!!!!!!!!!
