I am 17 and am in love with muscle cars, and all other fast cars...tuners, europeans, muscle, etc...... So you can imagine it to be hard driving a 1999 explorer...I want a new car insanely bad and have low cash flow.....I want to be able to do some work on it and make it nice...

what are your guy's suggestions on the car i should get? Please no mustangs, eclipses, or any of the cars that EVERYONE drives i want a cxar that is kind of original...thanks for the help.

  1. man no way to the others you want original look for maybe a 69 olds cutlass or the 70's corvettes are reasonable like 74 to 81 the dodges are expensive but Chevy and for are reasonable maybe a 69 cougar that's unusual and be nice to put a 390 or 426 cobra jet in it the list is endless for get the Honda's putting 5 grand in the motor to do what a big block does stock buy the real horse power the chevelle is a good idea but picking one up is not cheap

  2. Hey, get somethings that eye catcher, cheap on fixin, cheap but nice looking upgrades, and great resale for whenever you wanna switch, THE NEW HONDA ACCORD COUPE!!!

Dude i have the v6, get the 4 cylinder... its so sick, quick nice looking

i have it in black with 22 in chromes, after market foglights, grill, intake, aftermarket exahust, 3 kicker cvx subs, black tint , blacked headlights and taillights and a scoop on the top...  The car cost me 25500 out the door with alot of bargining, and i spent a total of 3000 on upgrades and 2000 on rims.... Everyone turns to look , lil kids, adults old people, all colors, and i wish i had the 4cylinder cazz of gas, but w/e its quick , i was head to head with a audi a4 1.8 the other night.... so yeh , look into it... remember the gas man..... and always resale you never know when ur gonna change your mind, dont buy somehing for  30 grand and sell it for 10 a year later you know....

    good luck...

  3. Pick up some off road mags, your Explorer has plenty of cool & original possibilities. Trails, hills, mud, rocks, pre-running. You already have something not everyone drives, build it like you want it.

  4. get the one your comfortable driving and the one you like because if you get one you dont like youre just waisting some money on somthing you dont injoy!

And then you could worry about the fixing it up part..lol

  5. I don't know but my boyfriend is fixing up a 1971 Chevelle. He got a very good deal on one that was in bad shape and he is doing as much work as he can by himself and then he found a paint & body guy that is a little cheaper to do some stuff.
