I just bought a new computer and it has a demo version of MS Office on it. I have my own MS Office software. Should I uninstall the demo version before installing my own?

No, the key code does not work...

thanks in advance

  1. well this is up to you if you have word 2007 on your pc and want to install word 2003 you can have both. but if you want to install word 2007 and you have the demo version of word 2007 then i would uninstall the demo version. hoped i helped. :-)

  2. The demo version is probably a different version to your retail MS Office. There are a few versions of Office, e.g Ultimate, Student, Standard, Proffesional etc.

If the versions don't match, your retail Serial key won't work for the OEM version (the preinstalled Office). In this case, you'll need to uninstall it before installing your retail one.
