New computer! Question about Ipod?

i just got a new computer. i still have my old one though. my old one had limewire & itunes on it. i was just wondering if i download itunes on my new computer am i going to have to redownload all the songs that are on my ipod from my old computer? or are they just going to go onto itunes when i plug it in?

  2. You can transfer the music from your iPod to your new computer.  If you load iTunes onto your new computer then  connect you iPod it will erase your iPod, so do the transfer first. You should try a program by Tansee call "IPOD Transfer", http://www.tansee.com/. It runs about $20.00 at the site, but there is also a free trial download there that should serve your purpose. Hope that helps. you can also just google "transfer music from ipod to computer". that will give you several options, even free software to do the transfer.

  3. if i was you, i would set up your ipod as a storage device that you can manually add/erase songs, and just copy them onto new computer.

  4. the new computer won't have any of the music from your old computer on it.  You can use tune ranger to transfer all the music on your ipod to the new itunes
