New contact wearer: Today I just got a trial pair, they said it lasts about a month...?

and I'm wondering if it'll be fine a month from now, even if I don't use it. Like I tried them on today, took them out; cleaned them, put then in the case in some solution, and a month from now for example.... Sept 16, will they still be perfectly fine to use? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If they are monthly lenses, they are good for 30 wears.  So if you don't wear them everyday, they can last longer than a month.  After wearing them 30 times, though, they should be thrown away.  Lots of people wear them longer than they should and they don't know the damage they are doing to their eyes.  Do check on the solution if you let them sit that long, though, as others have said.

You should try to wear the lenses each day, though, to get used to them.  I don't understand why you are waiting a month to wear them...but yes they will be safe in solution.

i used mine monthly pair for at least a month and a half

was still seeing perfectly fine

wasn't causing redness in the eyes or anything

I wear contacts, and I love 'em. =] The kind you are referring to are the disposable ones. It should be fine to use them in a month's time. Just make sure the solution in the case doesn't evaporate or else your contacts will dry out and be useless.

The whole thing about disposables is that they are made in a certain way- they aren't meant to last. Which means that after a month, the accumulation of dirt/ erosion by the acidic fluids in your eyes will make the contacts flimsy/ useless. They fall out/ get itchy/ and the visibility doesn't work as well. Technically, you could keep your contacts for a long, long time [without wearing them] and they'd still be fine.

Yes. But if you just leave them in the case for a while, you have to wash them the next time you open them. Just squirt some solution on the contacts, and change the solution in the case and you should be fine.
