New dirtbike?

Okay. My parents are buying me a dirtbike and I'm in between getting the 2009 Suzuki DR-Z125C or the 2008 Honda CRF230F. The Suzki is $2,699 and The Honda is $3,649. Personaly I love the Honda, but what is the best quality and value for a 14 year old girls first trail bike?

My suggestion would be getting a 125cc bike as your first bike but between the two I would get the Honda but both should be good bikes if maintained properly.

I think you would enjoy the CRF for much longer than the 125. It has a mild power delivery so you won't be overwhelmed or anything, but you have enough power to last you for years to come. It is an excellent bike. I had an '05 CRF230 for a couple years. Have you also considered the CRF150F? I would sit on both the 230 and 150 Honda to see which fits you best. Just remember it is the CRF150F not CRF150R, big difference.

Tough to beat that Suzi. I hate to sound callous, but if you are a bigger girl, you will want the Honda.
