  1. Getting digital signature key makes sense only if you file many return in a year. Else spending about Rs. 1000 a year and going through process makes no sense.

  2. dont spend money for that now youcan take a print of the efiled one and do sign in it and send it to the it office u can contact an auditor at muthu_mi@yahoo.co.in for more details

  3. digital signature service is provided by mtnl and punjab national bank. the charges are approximately rs 300/- per years, if u need digital signatues only for itr returns it will be easier or less expensive to download the itr , fill it up and deposit same with it office..

  4. e-filing does not mandate a digital signature; e-filing can always be done. The ITR-V submission is not possible online if you do not have a digital signature.
