New engine milage vs. car milage?

i am thinking about buying this car...it has a rebuilt engine, 24,000 miles on it. but i dont know how much the car has on it...should i even be concerned about the milage on the car car or the engine? thanks...

  1. The mileage on the car does not matter since that was on the old engine. If the body is rust free and in good shape and the engine was properly rebuilt then it should not be a problem.


  2. on a 30 year old car mileage does NOT matter...condition does...you should assume every part has been replaced or needs to be....you should check it out with a mechanic...for 4K i can't believe its in the best shape...iv seen 3/4 K car that needed complete suspensions/brakes.radiators and almost every part on it...look and if u like it go for it....looks ok for low price....
