  1. You have a real job ahead of you. The way it is usually done is this way.

1,  You have to cut a wye into the drainage line going to the toilet the least, you have to have is a 2'' line coming off of the 3 or 4" line going to the toilet.

    2. Then you have to core drill a hole in the floor the first hole should be big enough to set the whole drain so that the body is below the floor and the top of the drain is about a inch below the top of the floor, the second hole is just a size larger than the pipe size of the drain.

    3. You must also remember that this all has to be done according to the plumbing codes of your area.

    4. You can also at this time if you up the size of  the wye that you cut into the drain to a 3" you can put in your shower and whatever you want.

    5. Remember, that all this is going to have to be vented so that is going to require you to cut into the existing walls, then if you put in your shower you will have to have water

    6. If you are truly serious on this or if the plumbing inspector is breathing down your throat my advice to you would be to get a few plumbing contractors in there and get you some bids on this work because, it is way above the average guy doing it, and is getting into some serious work.
