New gasoline containers?

Has anyone used the new "CARB" gasoline containers ? It is designed to reduce gas vapors from escaping from it, I HAVE NEVER SPILLED SO MUCH GASOLINE in my life, every time I try to use it "Carefully", I spill fuel all over me, the lawn mower, and the ground. How does this help with curtailing the gasoline vapors ? ? ? don't they (regulatory agency's) see that this does NOT work ?

My gas can is totally sealed and doesn't leak any vapors unless you're pouring and that can't be much at all.

Try to analyze exactly what is causing your spills and find ways to avoid future spills.  For example would a correctly sized funnel help?  Are you filling the container too full?  You may find a simple solution after careful observations to link cause with effect.  You would have to do no less to report the problem(s) to a regulatory agency.  Of course carefully read instructions (if any) first on how to correctly use the product.  You may have an excellent point after all because the solution to one problem (vapors) may lead to new problems.  Industry often hesitates to make changes due to the 'Coke bottle effect' because the Coke bottle worked so well over many years that there had to be a compelling reason (new plastics, cans, vending machines, popular sizes, etc.) to justify the risks of new adverse consequences (and we are not actually talking about Coke bottles here).  Aluminum wiring in mobile homes led to poor connections due to corrosion that led to overheating and even fires.
