My family moved 8 months ago to a small town from a big city. I did one semester at the local high school so far.

I'm having trouble meeting friends, it's a very conservative town and school.

I dress a little different than they are used to and I seem to be the only smoker in my class, I wonder if they think I am too wierd or stuck up because I am from a big city. It's been a lonely time so far. I only have 1 more semester to go before I go to college but still want to meet some friends.

  1. Not a problem. I checked out your 360 and if those pics are actually of you, just hang in there. Friends will come to you. Just be yourself and show people that you have a personality and have fun. If I was your age, I would be beating at your door trying to get to know you better. You are a very beautiful woman!!!!!!!

  2. Just be yourself....don't sell out because of them.....sounds like they're the stuck up ones because they can't accept you for who you are....so don't worry about them....because when college comes around then you'll have all those orgies to attend...*lol* just joking....or am I ???

Seriously though....just be yourself...you shouldn't have to sell out just to get friends....true friends accept you for you no matter what.

  3. Try to dress more conservative like they do and smile alot to different people.  Maybe get involved in some social events at school.  Try not to smoke as often at school.  You just have to show them that you are a good person.

  4. try to dress more like them show you are attempting to fit their life style .as for the smoking it is a toss up.

quite often people in small towns have little to no trust of someone from a big city.

i am from a small town and know how they feel.
