i have been wearing glasses about four or five years. i just got my 3rd set of prescription glasses and they are a little stronger than my old ones. when i wear my new glasses i feel cross eyed and things look a little fuzzy and distorted at long distances. i don't really have a problem when i am sitting down just when i am walking and looking at stuff at some what of a distance. i have had these glasses for 3 days and they are transition glasses. could it be my eyes just adjusting to the new prescription could it be the lenses not being centered correctly or could it just be the wrong prescription.

  1. A few people  I know had the same problem with those lenses and had to return them.  They just couldn't get used to them.

  2. By "transition" do you mean that they are multifocals? If so, they can take a while to adjust to, or the reading rx may be too high in the lens for you. If they are Transitions (that change tint according to light and temperature), that is a different story. Regardless, I would suggest visited the optical shop that made the glasses to make sure that the lenses were made according to rx , are 'centered" correctly( optical center)and are adjusted correctly. If you are still having trouble after that visit, i would suggest that you follow up with the doctor.
